The Internet is out if only because the advertising is out of this world and widely recognized as inaccurate. Ditto the TV. Inaccuracies abound and it’s impossible to obtain information in a timely manner — not to mention the pervasive practice across all television venues — of refusing to report anything significant about their advertisers OR their practices.

Magazines? Too limited, certainly too slow to be considered ‘timely’ information. Newspapers are hindered from reporting accurate information quickly if, for no other reason, reporters are prevented from reporting what they find and stories are limited to what the editorial department will allow — always with an eye towards advertising.

The fastest information, of course, comes from the Internet — but knowing where to go for fast and accurate information remains a challenge. Online, you’re only allowed to know what you’re allowed to know. [Wink, wink.]
